R 2 I Workshop in Parliament Today

On the initiative of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Minister Gayantha Karunathilake,.

a workshop on the Right to Information (R2 I ) Act, for Secretaries to Ministries and Provincial Councils will be held in Parliament today

The Minister will attend the workshop, together with Deputy Minister Karunarathne Paranwithana and several others senior officials.

A lecture on ‘The R2 I  Concept and its Evolution’, will be delivered Deputy Minister Paranwithana. MP Dr. Jayampathi Wickremerathne will apprise the participants on the basic features of the R2 I Act.
