Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) has made an application in the Colombo Additional Magistrate Court to order five cell phone companies to supply detailed reports of phone conversations recorded in their back-up systems related to 13 mobile phone numbers used by the killers of late Colombo 4 millionaire businessman Mohammad Suleiman.
While ordering to provide above details, the Colombo Additional Magistrate also ordered the five cellular phone companies to submit further detailed reports related to five mobile phones used by eight suspects in remand on suspicion of involvement in the abduction and murder of the businessman.
The Colombo Additional Magistrate also ordered the head of Genetech Institute to establish DNA of blood stains found inside the vehicle used by the killers and ordered Police to find out any further evidence in the crime.
The Magistrate also ordered the eight suspects taken into custody in this case to be further remanded until 15 September.
