Weather Forecast for 19th September 2016

Strong winds at times (up to 60 kmph) can be expected to continue over the Southern and Western provinces and in the Southern sea areas.

Mainly fair weather condition will prevail most parts of the island.

However, Light showers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa , Central and Southern provinces.

Thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Uva and Eastern provinces after 2.00 p.m.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
