Duminda Filed an Appeal at Colombo High Court Today

Former MP Duminda Silva filed an appeal at the Colombo High Court registrar’s office over the conviction in connection with the murder of Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and three others.

He has requested his conviction to be overturned and he be acquitted and released.

Three others who were convicted filed appeals on 20^th September 2016.

Accordingly, Anura Thushara de Mel, Chaminda Ravi Jayanath alias Dematagoda Chaminda and Dissanayake Mudiyanselage Sarath Bandara filed appeals against their convictions and sought they be acquitted and released.
