Weather Forecast for 27th September 2016

Strong winds at times can be expected to continue over the Island (up to 50-60 kmph) and in the deep and shallow sea areas off the coast extending from Mannar to Colombo via Puttalam and Hambantota to Pottuvil (up to 60-70 kmph).

Mainly fair weather will continue over most parts of the island.

However, Light showers may occur at few places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provincesand in the Galle district.

Thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Uva and Eastern provinces after 2.00 p.m.
