Former IGP Mahinda Balasuriya at Presidential Commission

Former IGP Mahinda Balasooriya has been summoned to Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC) today  (10). He has been summoned in connection with misappropriation of Rs.300 million during Mahinda Rajapaksa regime in giving police protection to five members of Wimal Weerawansa’s political party NFF on a request by Wimal Weerawansa.
