Colombo – Chilaw Road Blocked

The residents in the area near kochchikade have started a protest  Colombo – Chilaw main road blocked.

Heavy  Traffic congestion  reported on Colombo – Chilaw road due to the protest  demonstration.

The demonstration has been staged against illegal sand mining activities in Negombo, Kochchikade, Udangawa, Murupaana and Bambukuliya areas.

Motorists are advised  to use alternative routes.
