Duminda Dissnayake to be Removed from SLFP Secretary Post?

Party Sources said, that most of the Ministers, Parliamentarians, Senior members of SLFP and others in the party are dissatisfied with the way Duminda Dissanayake conducts Party affairs. They are poised to request for a change in Party Secretary Post.

In the meantime in Ratnapura meeting, speakers said, some of the SLFP members in the Government are planning to join the Joint Opposition soon. In order to reply this suggestion by joint opposition, the SLFP is planning to call for a central committee meeting immediately after President Returns to the country.
