Accident at Vavuniya – Anuradhapura Main Road

 Six persons were injured following an accident along the Vavuniya – Anuradhapura main road.

The accident took place as a vehicle which was travelling from Medawachchiya to Anuradhapura collided into the rear end of a bus which was travelling from Vavuniya to Hambantota. It is stated that the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Six  injured were admitted to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital.
