Ten Hour Water Cut Followed by Power Cut in Kalutara & Surrounding Areas

 Although raining started  the National Water Supply and Drainage Board  is compelled  to impose water cut  as a result of power cut.

Ten  hour water cut from 8 am until 6 pm  will take place in a number of areas surrounding Kalutara,  Areas affected are : Wadduwa, Pothupitiya, Waskaduwa, Kalutara, Nagoda, Bentota, Payagala, Maggona, Beruwala, Kaluwamodara, Moragolla, Darga Town, Aluthgama, Bombuwala and Pilimatalawa.

The Water Board said, that  the water cut is imposed  as a result of  power cut   to the Kethhena – Kalutara water purification plant area.
