Signing of New Contracts with the SLC only After Talks

Sri Lankan national cricket players are likely to sign the new player contracts with SLC.

The players had been disappointed due to several clauses in the contracts are unfavourable and contemplating not to sign. The players were protesting the reduction of allowances and individual performance bonuses.

Sri Lanka Captain Angelo Mathews, Rangana Herath and Dinesh Chandimal held talks with the SLC President Thilanga Sumathipala last night on the dispute.
