Possibility of Holding LG Election Before 30th April 2017

Chairman of the Election Commission Mahinda Desapriya  said,  that   there is possibility  in holding  the Local  Government  Election before 30^th April 2017.

He has made this observation while  answering  journalist  after the discussion he had with  the  members of Parliament representing  of Matara district.

However, he said that this is only possible  subject to approval by the Minister of Local Government.
