Showery condition is expected to enhance over the island, particularly over the Southern half of the island, after 18^th of this month.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Northern, Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota district.

Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere particularly after 2.00 p.m.Heavy falls (about 100mm) can be expected at some places, particularly in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
