Cheating Publicity Stunt Using Rishad’s Name to Gather Crowd For Kandy March Tomorrow

ACMC Director Legal, Lawyer Rushdie Habeeb has lodged a complaint to the Director General of Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of SL (TRCSL) and the Inspector General of Police to the effect that certain hardliners disseminate false propaganda stating that Rishad has Challenged the hardliners to gather 5000 people for tomorrow’s Kandy march, then he will resign from his Minister post thus using Rishad’s name in their face book to gather crowd for tomorrow’s Kandy march.

Rishad was accused of destroying Wilpattu by hardliners. He challenged them to prove their mettle in an open TV debate and boldly participated in it. One by one he disproved all allegations and cleared the cloud one year back.  During the open TV debate at one stage he said, ” if anyone proves that either he or his community has cut down a single tree in Wilpattu, he would resign from his Minister post’’. Hardliners picked up this particular portion from the debate and edited according to their need and used the clipping in their face book to gather crowd  for Kandy march tomorrow. On behalf of Rishad, the lawyer has requested the TRCSL and IGP to take legal action against a particular face book account.
