Batticaloa Ampitiya Sumana Thero to Appear in Court

In  the recent past  Batticaloa  Ampitiya Sumana Thero , who said to have been a law  unto himself  has created problems in the district. Civil Organizations, Local Councillors ,  Parliamentarians and  Government Officials have made complaints against his atrocities,  but steps were  not taken in the past, people alleged.

 In the recent past he tress passed in a private land in Kokaddicholai Swami Malai Grama Sevaka Division   and   scolded   the GS   and the   Divisional Secretary in  fifth . Though police were present at the time, no steps have been taken against him. Hence, written complain was lodged  in the Kokaddicholai police by the GS. Kokaddicholai police has taken   steps to file a case against him. Hence, Ampitiya Sumana Thero has to appear before court soon.
