Prevailing showery conditions are expected to continue over the country during next few days.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Northern, North-central, Eastern, Uva, and Southern provinces. Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere particularly after 2.00 pm.
Fairly heavy falls (more than 75mm) can be expected at some places, particularly in Western, Northwestern, Sabaragamuwa, Eastern, Uva and Southern provinces.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
