Weather Forecast For 1st December 2016

The cyclonic storm (“NADA”) in the South-west Bay of Bengal is now located around 200 km to the north-east of Kankasanturai coast and it is expected to move north-westward. It is likely cross North Tamil Nadu coast on today midnight. Under the influence of the above system very strong winds and heavy showers are expected in the Northern, Eastern and North-central provinces, until 02^nd December.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Northern, Eastern and North-central provinces. Fairly

heavy falls (about 75 mm) can be expected at some places.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places elsewhere.
