Bus Strike Called Off

Private bus operators engaged in a strike yesterday protesting the government’s decision to increase the fine on certain traffic offences to Rs 25,000.
Followed by this, Private bus operators have called off their strike last night after President Maithripala Sirisena agreed to meet them to discuss their demands.
