Weather Forecast For 8th December 2016

Fairly strong winds (up to 50kmph) at times are expected (particularly in southern part of the island) during next few days.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Northern and Eastern provinces.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00pm.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
