Report on Rs 25,000 Fine Committee Report Within a Month

Followed by the discussion  the President  had with the  Bus Operators ,  the President has appointed a  committee headed by Secretary Transport Ministry Nihal Somaweera comprises of individuals from the police, Attorney General’s Department, and Finance Ministry officials as well Motor Traffic Commissioner Jagath Chandrasiri.

Secretary of the Ministry of Transport Nihal Somaweera said, that the report would be prepared following another discussion that is to be held between the secretary of the ministry of Finance and Bus Unions.

 Their  report  will be submitted to the  President within a month.
