Media Secretary Bopage in Danger Zone

 Presidential Media  section Spokesman said,  that the President has ruled out  the statement made by the Media Secretary to the effect  that there was a conspiracy to kill him.  Further, President wished   that no publicity be given  in media  for his statement.

 In the meantime,  58  MPs ( Backbenchers )  have signed a petition  to the President and the Prime Minister asking them to remove Nimal Bopage, the Secretary to the Ministry of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media from his post with immediate effect, as he  refused  to  sign the agreement to provide 58 MPs with vehicles.  The MPs are of the opinion that that Mr. Bopage should not be kept in his post any longer as he has challenged the government several times.
