Sugar Import Levy Up by Rs.13 Per Kilo But No Change in Retail Price of Rs 95

The Ministry of Finance  has taken  a decision  to increase the Special Commodity Levy for a kilo of imported white sugar  from  Rs 7 to Rs 13  with effect from 20th  December 2016.
