SLC Executive Committee Exerts Pressure on Selectors

News from reliable sources state, that Executive Committee members of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) are exerting pressure on the selection of the national squad.

The source said that the selectors have been forced to include certain players whom they rejected in the current squad to South Africa.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Cricket’s decision to stop sending selectors for tours, has left the panel headed by former captain and chairman of selectors Sanath Jayasuriya red-faced. SLC did not send a selector on their previous tour to Zimbabwe either.
