Lottery Sales Agents at War Path

The Government has decided   to increase  the selling price of  a Lottery ticket  to Rs 30.

All Ceylon Lottery Agents Union stated that  it will badly  affect their business . Increase in price will decreased  the sales , so  their commission

Its members will pull out from lottery sales,  if the government does not change its decision to increase the price of a ticket up to 30 rupees.

Addressing a media conference held in Colombo yesterday , Union Chairman Krishantha Marambage said,  the trade union action will be launched with effect from January 1st.
