Mahinda’s Security Contingent Reduced

On 2 May 2016 the Military security provided to Former President cum  Kurunegala District Parliamentarian,  Mahinda Rajapaksa was withdrawn and replaced with Police personnel.

Mahinda Rajapaksa,  made a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic on Saturday He engaged  in religious activities and  also visited the Chief Incumbents of the Malwatte and Asgiri Chapters.

During this visit, he said that 12 of his security personnel had been withdrawn.
