President Maitripala Sirisena states that the Bandaranaka family did everything for the country except theft, fraud and corruption in the past.
The President Sirisena stated so while participating at a function held at the BMICH yesterday in view of the former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaranatunga’s 70 the birthday.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe also participated in the occasion.
Speaking on this occasion the Prime Minister (PM) stated that it was Ex-President Chandrika Bankaranaike who re-built the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) after its defeat in 1977.
