Case Against Dhammaloka Thera Taken for Inquiry in March 2017

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID)   arrested the Ven. Uduwe Dhammaloka Thera on 9^th March  2016   on charges of keeping  an elephant calf without a permit. He was arrested and released on bail. Whenthe case was taken up today Supreme Court   Judge  Nisanka Bandulla Karunaratna has ordered  that the case  will be taken for inquiry   on 16^th and 17^th  March 2017 .
