37 Individuals Arrested

Thirty Seven (37) individuals have been arrested for staging a protest opposite the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy. The Police Headquarters said, that the group was arrested on charges of violating a court order.

They  were arrested by officers attached to the Colpetty, Borella, Kirulapone, Wellawatte, Narahenpita and Bambalapitiya police stations  around 10:30 pm last night . They will be produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate today(25).
