SLC Workers on Rooftop Strike

Eleven contract based labours, who counts  ten years service were not absorbed  into the  permanent service of the Srilanka Cricket (SLC).

They  launched a protest strike and began a fast yesterday on the rooftop of the Dambulla Cricket Stadium are continuing on for a second day. As the Authorities had failed to give an acceptable solution in writing the strike would continue, they said.
