The Parliamentary Committee on Public Accounts , Chairman Alagiyawanna said, the Committee on Public Accounts deliberated financial statements of 75 state institutions and submitted assessment reports on 39 bodies last year adding that the CPA committee will forward recommendations on 36 other Government Departments will be submitted before parliament shortly. He said, observations and a set of recommendations by the members will be forwarded to Parliament in the near future and Parliament is vested with powers to take action based on the report.
