Report on SAITM by University Deans in 2 Weeks

Speaking at an event in Colombo, Minister of Health Rajitha Senarathne said,  the present Government accepts  establishment of Private Medical Colleges while steps are being taken  to resolve  pending issues. Minister Rajitha Senarathne also said the government plans to construct a new medical faculty in Kuliyapitiya in future.

He further said, the issue regarding SAITM was discussed at length with University Deans, who are taking measures to submit a report connected with the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine or SAITM within two weeks.
