Law Enforcing Officers Caught Hunting in Wilpattu

Police  officers , who are   entrusted  with the  tasks of enforcing  law and order  were caught  in hunting in the Wilpattu National Wildlife Sanctuary.

Wilpattu  forest  range  officers of  the Wildlife Department have caught  red handed the Chief Inspector (OIC) Puttalam  division SP office Special Crimes Investigations Division along with a sub inspector of police  and other civilians who were his friends at the time of their arrest,  They had two tortoises with them.

The suspects were produced in the Puttalam Magistrate’s Court.
