Southern Doctors Poised to Strike Today

Doctors attached state hospitals in the Southern Province have decided to engage in a four hour token strike today(21)   in opposition of the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM).

Followed by this, the Government Medical Officers’ Association said the strike commence  from 8am to 12pm today.

This  token strike has  organized by doctors and medical students at 1pm , while a rally is  take place in Galle as well.
