Regarding recent killing of a Tamil Nadu fisherman in mid sea by Srilankan Navy , National Fisherman Forum Leader Ilagovan said, that AK47 bullets were recovered from the body of the deceased. They want justice and fair play in the killing. They said, that they will take up the matter to UNHRC .
In the meantime Srilankan Navy has said categorically, that they have not ordered to shoot any fisherman in the sea. Further, Indian High Commissioner of Srilanka Ranjith Singh met Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe in this connection.
