High Court Summoned President & PM

During the Presidential election  Tissa Attanayake  alleged to have forged signatures of  President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister  Ranil Wickramasinghe  on a  false agreement. On complaint  received,  police took steps to arrest Tissa Attanayake and filed  a case  in the Colombo High Court

Tissa Attanayake was subsequently released on bail. In order to take the case for inquiry the first and second witnesses President Maithripala Sirisena  and Prime Minister  Ranil Wickramasinghe were noticed to appear before the Colombo High Court today(20). However, they have informed the Court  that due to other official duties they are unable to attend today.

They were  noticed  to appear before the  Colombo High  Court on 17^th July  2017 .
