Rishad Request DIG to Remove Fear psychosis of Naachiyatheevu Public

As a prelude to install a Buddhist Statue in   Naachiyatheevu village in Anuradhapura district, Buddhist radicals have organized a Padayathra on today (29). Muslim Community is in concentration in Naachiyatheevu village. Further, the place selected to install the Buddhist Statue is closer to an old historical Mosque.

Due to this development people in the Naachiyatheevu village are under fear and scared. Hence, in order to remove their Fear psychosis, Minister of Industry and commerce Rishad Bathiudeen has requested the police DIG of Anuradhapura to strength the security of the village and take preventive measures.  At the same time Naachiyatheevu organisations too have also made the same request to the DIG.
