The Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) have also decided to launch a one-day island-wide token strike on 7th this month.
Participating at a media briefing held in Colombo yesterday GMOA Dr. Nalinda Herath said that this strike would be carried out in protest against the Malabe Private Medical College. Other trade unions affiliated to the JVP too joins the strike.
