Criminal Proceedings Only After Fact Finding Com Report

In response to an oral question raised by joint opposition MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe has  told Parliament yesterday, that   criminal proceeding if any with regard to the bond issue, will only be initiated  on completion of  the presidential commission investigations and the CID inquiry .

Further he  said  the CID investigation, which began on January 10, 2017, is currently in progress  and Attorney General had not interfered  and stopped it.
