Grama Seva Niladharis Poised to strike

The Ministry of Home Affairs  has  issued a letter informing  the existing transfer procedure of Grama Niladharis has been suspended.
They poised to strike against the decision taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs to change the existing transfer procedure of Grama Niladharis.
Grama Seva Niladharis throughout the island are preparing to launch a strike.
However, Chairman of the Sri Lanka United Grama Seva Niladharis’ Association, C.B. Wanninayake said that the decision should be abolished.
In the meantime, the Ministry has taken a decision  not to implement it immediately.
