Grama Seva Niladharis throughout the island are preparing to launch a strike. However, Chairman of the Sri Lanka United Grama Seva Niladharis’ Association, C.B. Wanninayake said that the decision should be abolished. In the meantime, the Ministry has taken a decision not to implement it immediately.
