British Minister Alok Sharma’s SL Visit Cancels

British Foreign and Commonwealth Office Minister for Asia and the Pacific Alok Sharma has cancelled his visit to Sri Lanka after the British Prime Minister announced a snap election, the British High Commission in Colombo said today. He was to visit Sri Lanka from  tomorrow to Saturday this week. Minister Sharma was scheduled to deliver a speech under the theme ‘Opportunities and Challenges in a Post-Brexit World’ at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute, Colombo 07 on 21st  April 2017 .
