Namal & 4 Others Before Colombo High Court

The Colombo High Court yesterday  issued notice on UPFA Hambantota District MP Namal Rajapaksa and 4 other individuals to appear before the court  in connection with a money laundering case. The Attorney General had filed indictments against the defendants, under the Money Laundering Act, for failing to disclose the manner in which a sum of Rs 30 million was earned.

When the case was taken up yesterday  (3), High Court Judge Piyasena Ranasinghe issued notice on Namal Rajapaksa and 4 others to appear before the court on 6^th June 2017 .
