Case Against Wimal Weerawansa Postponed

National Freedom Front (NFF) Leader MP Wimal Weerawansa was arrested by the CID, on 23 October 2015, at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) and charged with being in possession of two passports including one which was invalid.

Followed by this, Negombo Additional Magistrate Dushyantha Epitawela yesterday(16)  postponed the case filed against Wimal Weerawansa, by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The case will be taken up for hearing again on 28^th September 2017.
