President Admired the Pilot of Crash Landed Helicopter

M.I.17 helicopter  of the Air Force has experienced a technical error during flood rescue  operations  and has fallen into a flooded area. At the time of the crash landing there were 11 passengers inside the helicopter.

Pilot, Troop Leader Bhanuka Delgahagoda has  carefully landed the helicopter  in an strategic  manner  thus saving lives of 11 passengers.
On learning this, President Maithripala Sirisena has contacted crash landed helicopter pilot  over the phone and has admired his brave efforts.
