Generating Electricity from Garbage in near Future

 In a press briefing yesterday (8),  Minister Champika Ranawake said, arrangements are being made to manage garbage disposal in Aruwakura in Puttalam.. Already removal of garbage  in Colombo and its’  has begun. Garbage collection and disposal will be done in an organized manner on a regular basis. Delay in collection and disposal of garbage has badly affected the day to day life of the people and caused economic problem.

In the near future  generating electricity from garbage will be in place, concluded Champika.
