Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Central and North-western provinces.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at few places in the Uva province and in the Batticaloa and Ampara districts after 2.00 pm.

Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected over Mathale, Polonnaruwa and Hambanthota districts.
