On Wednesday(21), students attached to the Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF) staged a demonstration demanding the closure of SAITM and forcibly entered the Ministry of Health premises and caused damage to the property.
Police have begun a broad-based investigation into the incident after obtaining CCTV footage from the Ministry of Health officials to identify and arrest offenders.
