The SLFP MP, Dilan Perera while speaking at the press conference at SLFP Head Quarters yesterday said, that next three months is crucial for the SLFP. We have agreed to be a partner in the good governance government for two years, which expires in December 2017. I am personally not satisfied with the performance of the government. We joined this unity government based on three important matters viz. Change in current election system, Constitutional Reform with power sharing and election reform. We supported the 19 th amendment to the constitution on condition that election Reforms will be introduced as 20 th amendment to the constitution.
If not for us (SLFP), Arjun Mahendran would have continued as Governor of Central Bank even today. The SLFP central committee has to meet and consider all facts before taking a decision on whether to continue or not to continue in the government?
