Chess on Imported Milk Powder Reduced by 2 %

In the press briefing of the Joint Opposition held  in Borella yesterday (11), Member of Parliament, C.B.Ratnayake said, that to safeguard the local  dairy industry  former chess on imported milk powder was  fixed at 225 %. After Prime Minister’s recent visit to Newzealand it has been reduced by 45%.  On Sunday (9), Chess on imported milk powder has been further reduced by 2% hitting the stomach of dairy farmers, he concluded.
