The reduction in LP gas prices will be effective from today. The price of a 12.5 Kg LP gas cylinder will be reduced by Rs. 100.
Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake at the UNP convention on Saturday (11) announced that the prices of domestic LP gas and rice will be reduced with effect from July 15.
Accordingly, the new price of a 12.5 kg cylinder of LP gas would be Rs. 1,496 while a cylinder of 5 kg LP gas would be Rs. 632. A 2.3 kg LP gas cylinder will be sold at Rs. 300.
