Duty Waiver For Srilankan Products in America.

The American President’s administration has taken steps to exempt all travelling products produced in countries entitle for GSP+ from customs duty. Hence, all travelling products of Srilanka such as travelling bags, money bags etc. will be exempted from customs duty in America. Earlier customs duty ranging from 6% to 20% was imposed to all imports by America.

As a result of this customs duty waiver, there will be more opportunities for Srilankan products in American market. Further, it opens the door to rejoin the first 10 countries group, which export most of the travelling products to America.
